A functional test for assessing intestinal permeability (leaky gut) and gut inflammation. You may choose one or both tests: - Blood test includes IgG and IgA antibodies against zonulin, candida, occludin and lipopolysaccharides (LPS). Requires finger-prick blood samples. - Stool test assessing 3 biomarkers including calprotectin, alpha-1 antitrypsin (A1AT) and pancreatic elastase (low levels may indicate pancreatic insufficiency causing compromised digestion, nutrient malabsorption, gas and bloating.) Increased intestinal permeability (i.e. leaky gut syndrome) is the underlying cause of most chronic health conditions, particularly autoimmune diseases. 'What's in the gut doesn't stay in the gut.'
